It’s that time of the year, Pinewood Derby season!
The rules for our 2010 District Pinewood Derby have been posted in the “Forms” section of this web site.
The Top finishers in each Pack are qualified to compete at the District Pinewood Derby, and must comply with these rules to be eligible for competition at the District level.

Join me in congratulating our first Distinguished Commissioner in a LONG time, Maggie Thuesen!
Maggie is “the hardest working person in the David Crockett District” and a key scouter that helps make the district go. She has many years as a dedicated scouter and well deserving of this award.
Requirements for the Distinguished Commissioner award include;
- Completed Commmssioner Basic Training
- Earn the Commissioners Key
- Complete 5 years of service on the Commissioner team
- Achieve key metrics in assigned unit recharter and quality attainments.

Over 223 Cub Scouts attended the 2009 Cub-O-Ree at Camp Happy Hollow. Counting parents and staff, there were over 500 at the event! Great weather was also featured as part of the program…

Key Unit leaders are invited to our annual Program Kickoff to pick up their Unit Program Notebooks. The notebooks contain the district calendar for 2009-2010 and information on all the major district events.
